My practice is based on reconnecting to the earth with a feminine sensibility, and through material explorations I cross contemporary art and craft.

I use the old traditional meditative processes of traditional crafts and techniques, processing and naturally dyeing wool with foraged plants to intertwine a feminine connection to nature.

Foraging creates a personal connection to the materials and along with using waste wool, I promote a slow, sustainable, anti-consumerist practice- to have a reciprocal relationship with nature

I take inspiration from the Cornish landscape and mythology- stories of indigenous wisdom; stories about the culture of nature. We have become disconnected from nature and forgotten this wisdom; reviving these stories will help bring us back in harmony with nature.
